Harambe Restaurant is owned by the 2007 Small Business Award and the 2009 Tin Chef winner, holding the title of The Best Chef in the West, and the 2011 Culinary Excellence Award winner, Dershaye Tessema.
Harambe is not just a restaurant, cafe and bar, it is also an institution that represents the best of Ethiopia in food and beverage as well as in the culture of this ancient African nation.

Ethiopia has diverse cultures and unique traditions which are practiced in the country on a daily basis. Harambe is designed to be a home away from home for Ethiopians and an astonishing exotic place for Australians without having to fly out of the country. The dining area upstairs give is design to replicate the traditional country side huts (Gojo), complete with the thatched roof on top.
